Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with a small free tool for teachers called Quinfer that helps quickly identify learning gaps using short diagnostic quizzes.
The idea is to make it easier to see how students are thinking, not just whether their answers are correct.
Teachers can generate a quick quiz, have students join with a simple code, and then see patterns in misconceptions across the class. The tool can also suggest possible instructional moves or follow-up questions based on student responses.
Some things it can currently do:
• generate short diagnostic quizzes using AI
• analyze student responses to highlight misconceptions
• suggest possible reteaching strategies
• generate follow-up questions focused on weak areas
• allow students to join with a simple code (no accounts required)
If anyone here would like to try it or share feedback, you can check it out here:

I'm especially interested in hearing from educators about:
whether the diagnostic insights are useful
how something like this could fit into classroom workflows
features that would make it more helpful for teachers
Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions!
Thanks.
