WELCOME to GEG TAMPA & Introductions! ‌🎉

[jill_dubois]

Hi everyone, I'm Jill (a little more about me below)!

Welcome to our brand-new digital home! The virtual keys have been handed over, the Wi-Fi is strong, and the GEG US Tampa space is officially live.

Consider this our local sandbox—a place to swap all things Google, ask "how do I do this in Slides?" without judgment, share classroom wins, and connect with Tampa Bay educators who truly get it.

To kick off our very first roll call, drop a comment below with:

• Your name & your role/school

• One thing bringing you joy this week (bonus points for sharing a fave beverage or surprisingly effective teacher tricks)

• What you're here for most: smart strategies, fresh ideas, or peer support?

So glad you’re here—let’s build something awesome together! 🌴

With joy,

Good afternoon! My name is Lorelle Enos - I currently teach 7th grade ELA in Citrus County Florida (Citrus Springs Middle School).  I am excited to learn new tools to utilize in my classroom.  Back in 2016, I had gained my Google Educator Certification (in New York) but that has obviously expired as our district in Florida is more Apple based.  We are now moving towards more Google related apps so I am hoping to improve my skills, see what is new, and bring that information back to my team.

This is amazing, Lorelle! I am so glad you found this space + there will be many opportunities to learn + grow together! Yes, things are always evolving with Google for Education Workspace and we will explore as we go! I appreciate your enthusiasm + I can imagine you will impact your students in a wonderful way! Don't hesitate to reach out if you need any support or we can hop on a Google Meet anytime! xoxo
