During our “Getting Started with Google Workspace for Education” session, we invited participants to reflect on a practical question: “𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤?”
The responses revealed a clear pattern:
- Gemini 36.8%
- Gmail 15.8%
- Chrome 15.8%
- Google Meet 10.5%
- Other tools, less frequently mentioned

These findings highlight an important opportunity. While participants are becoming increasingly familiar with AI and core Google tools, there remains significant potential to explore the broader Google Workspace for Education ecosystem.
Beyond individual tools, this ecosystem can support more effective teaching, collaboration, communication, and assessment.
This is why digital literacy is not only about knowing which tools exist. It is about understanding how to select and use the right tools to strengthen teaching and learning.
