ELP Circle Event: Leveraging District-Provided Technology for Consistency and Cost Savings
Description:
As system leaders, one of our ongoing challenges is ensuring that staff know what technology and software resources are already available to them through the district. Too often, employees purchase or adopt tools individually—leading to duplication, inconsistency, and unnecessary costs—when the district already provides high-quality solutions at no additional expense.
This ELP Circle Event will focus on strategies to:
Create awareness among staff of district-provided technology and software.
Ensure consistency of use across schools and departments.
Eliminate duplication and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
Align technology use with district-wide priorities for teaching, learning, and operations.
The session will be interactive and solution-oriented, providing a space to share challenges, successful practices, and actionable steps for system-wide communication and alignment.
Audience:
Superintendents and/or their designees
Facilitator:
Dr. James Driscoll, Superintendent, Tempe Elementary School District
