Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Johnson, and I’m a Career & Technical Education educator in the Boise School District in Idaho, USA. I teach at the middle school level and have had the opportunity to work across a wide variety of subject areas including computer science, technology, engineering, career exploration, graphic design, business management, and marketing.
I’m passionate about helping students discover connections between what they learn in the classroom and the many different pathways available to them in the real world. I especially enjoy creating hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and practical skills students can carry into their future.
One area of expertise I bring is integrating technology into education and designing engaging, career-connected learning experiences that make innovation accessible to all learners. I’m also a leader with the Idaho Google Educator Group, where I enjoy collaborating with educators and helping create spaces for professional growth and shared learning.
Through this community, I hope to connect with educators from around the world, exchange ideas on innovative teaching practices, and continue learning alongside others who are passionate about preparing students for an ever-changing future. Looking forward to learning with all of you!
