System readiness is a key indicator of successful technology implementation.  If anything was learned from the recent pandemic it is the need for system readiness for big sustained change.  Without a true assessment, training, and buy-in, systems tend to fall back into what is know and easy for preservation.  True change takes time and intention.  Artificial intelligence integration is no different.  There needs to be a balance of speed and buy-in due to the speed at which technology is evolving.
