When generative AI burst into classrooms, many school leaders experienced immediate policy anxiety—grappling with academic integrity, data privacy concerns, and the temptation to chase "shiny new tools." But as we look toward building long-term, resilient guidelines, how do we move from a mindset of passive compliance to active, ongoing governance?

We just published a recap blog post detailing key takeaways from our recent EDU on Air for K-12 session featuring @kishmael (Ishmael Consulting), Ralph Valenzisi (Norwalk Public Schools), and me!
