I tried a new idea in class and it works wonders! It’s a great way to help students bond with AI while making reading fun.

Here’s the simple process:

Read: Students read a book.

Summarize: They write a short summary of the story. Or use notebook LM

Generate: They use that summary to create a "Banana Gemini" image using Gemini.

Why it’s great:

It makes students excited to read and summarize.

They learn how to give clear instructions (prompts) to AI.

They get to see their imagination turn into a cool picture!

It’s simple, interactive, and the students absolutely love it.
