Gina Marchionda has served as an Instructional Technology Coach for the past two years. Residing in Wisconsin, USA, Gina is passionate about supporting others. She especially finds joy in helping educators feel empowered and confident in their work.

Gina loves creating systems and supports, removing barriers to make learning accessible to all. In fact, making a broader impact is what drew Gina to leadership. One of Gina’s proudest moments was leading the transformation of digital learning across our district, as highlighted in this Kami blog post. What started as a pilot turned into a powerful, district-wide movement toward accessibility, creativity, and inclusive learning. By empowering teachers with tools like Kami and supporting them through personalized professional learning, Gina’s district saw real shifts—not just in tech use, but also in student engagement, voice, and success. This work wasn’t just about integrating a tool—it was about removing barriers and creating meaningful, lasting change for every learner.

When reflecting on the best professional advice that she received, Gina shared, “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of progress. Progress over perfection has been a guiding principle for me—especially in the world of innovation and instructional coaching. Sometimes, the small steps forward are the most powerful ones.”

On a more personal note, Gina's favorite place to visit is New York City because of the energy, diversity, and inspiration around every corner. That makes it a place that she loves to return to again and again.

Her hobbies include roller skating, traveling, culinary arts, building with LEGOs, and spending time with her family—including her miniature dachshund, Nash, and her two guinea pigs, Walter and Timmy. Her favorite color is purple, and she really enjoys seafood.
