Create a new class using data from your Student Information System (SIS)

Hi Google Education Leaders,

Teachers now have the ability to create new classes in Classroom using data imported from their SIS. They will be able to create new classes using information such as student rosters, co-teachers, grading categories, and grading periods. Teachers can also pull this information into existing classes. Please note this feature will only be available for customers using one of our current SIS partners, which is expanding over time.

To make this feature available to teachers, admins must connect Classroom to their SIS. This feature is available to teachers with a Teaching and Learning or Education Plus license assigned to them. This feature will roll out gradually in Classroom starting on August 1st, 2024.
