In our district we can open up to allow users from outside of our domain- typically for our charter schools. But i agree with Luis... could be a hurdle to allow outside of the domain users.

I want to start a project for different schools from different regions. I want to use Google Classroom, which I use at my own school. Is that possible?

The students are not all in the same Google Workspace.

yes and no...

Schools usually restrict what "outside of their domain" classrooms their students can join. So your biggest hurdle would be to get your school or trainer domain (if you have one) on every school's allow list so their students can join.

Another solution would be to have everyone use personal gmail accounts, but that is a whole new can of worms.
