Project Instruction CHEM-ANIMATE: The Invisible Tide: An AI-Supported Inquiry-Based Animation Project on Freshwater Acidification and Climate Change Communication

What started as a classroom project on ocean acidification became a meaningful collaboration between teachers from the Philippines and Austria.
Together with Bibiane @bibiane.blauensteiner.2012@teachforaustria.at from Austria, we used Google Workspace to plan, develop, and coordinate the project—from shaping the learning experience and research activities to preparing the implementation and sharing our students' work.
The collaboration continued beyond our own schools. Our students' learning connected classrooms across two countries and two continents, creating an authentic opportunity to exchange ideas, perspectives, and awareness about a global environmental issue that also matters deeply to the Philippines.
From planning in Google Workspace to sharing the final work through YouTube, technology helped us turn distance into connection.

Collaboration is no longer limited by school walls. It can happen across schools, across countries, and across continents.

This project reminded us that when educators connect with a shared purpose, students gain something even more valuable than a completed project—a global audience, authentic collaboration, and a broader perspective of their role as young global citizens.
