Hello Google Admin Fam...from San Antonio, Texas!

My name is Karl Pradel, and I have been a Google Workspace for Ed. Admin since 2017. I work for San Antonio ISD, and I manage over 47,000 student accounts, 9,000 staff accounts, and about 70,000 Chromebooks as a Systems Admin/Google Super Admin. Ever since our domain has upgraded to Education Standard, I am really enjoying the new Security Center. If I had to choose one goal for being on this Group Hub, it's to have a great group of Google Admin to consult, collaborate on, and troubleshoot issues when I run into them. It always surprises me that for as long as I have been doing this job, I always get stumped on something at least once a month, lol! In the coming years, I hope that this community will be a pillar of communication & support for all Google Admins.

Hi Karl!

Great to meet you. I'm about 7 weeks into being the IT admin for a small charter school in Austin, TX. I worked as a database & systems manager before that, but WOW K-12 tech is a different world. I have 150 chromebooks on their way for the new middle school that we are opening in the fall, and I'm familiarizing myself with Google Classroom throughout the summer. How are y'all doing down there in San Antonio?
