From what I have read:

Make sure they are all on the same OS version

Make sure they are all in the same OU

Make sure the device is loading policy (chrome://policy)

Check to see if the settings for that OU include:

How to Manage the Policy

Admin Console Path: Go to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Managed guest sessions in your Google Admin console.

Policy Name: Look for ManagedGuestSessionPrivacyWarningsEnabled (Reduce Managed-guest session auto-launch notifications).

Configuration: Toggle or set the value to False.

Note: Google designed this notification as a privacy disclosure for public or shared devices, and disabling it completely may not be supported or visible depending on your specific ChromeOS build version or organization tier.

Barring any of those, I would 3-finger powerwash the device and see if it starts acting similar to the others afterwards. If not, you might be lucky enough for the other 25 to have bad profiles that are actually working as you want them to. Resetting those might have the exact opposite effect than desired.

ChromeOS always showing the "Managed Guest Session"-Notification

We purchased 26 Chromebooks a few months ago to use them for exams. All of them are booting into managed guest mode but only one ist always showing the notification that it is running in a managed guest session. In my research so far, I haven't found a way to disable the notification either, since I can't edit the relevant policy in the admin console, and it doesn't seem to be pushed to the device at all.

Strangely enough, only this one device is affected. We run the devices on the Google Chrome Education Upgrade. Any Ideas how I can switch off the notification permanently?
