When you say "Wi-Fi connected but no internet", the Chromebook would need to be getting an ip address. Is it? If you do crosh, can you ping the default gateway? Can you ping www.google.com to rule out a DNS issue?

All our other devices can connect fine but some chromebooks, just won't let you get on to the Wi-Fi unless you try login using the guest account. We use smoothwall at our school with unifi aps but I don't think this is the problem.

Hi, Yeah typically I ping 8.8.8.8 and it returns. They definetly have an ip address I've even tried switching to a static to see if that was a problem somewhere. Other devices can connect fine, and I have seen this issue not only at the school I work at but on a home network as well. The only tempoary fix I can find is updating the chromebook but the problem typically comes back. I've tried using neverssl.com as I've seen that apparently is supposed to help
