You most likely have the "Allow users to install and run allowlisted apps from the Marketplace" checked and you should keep it that way. Add apps to the allow list as approved and necessary. If you allow users full access, you will end up with a world of headaches. Teachers and students will download all kinds of apps that could break your systems, are inappropriate, or are total time wasters that junk up your machines. You could have compliance issues as well. You can find instructions for creating collections here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/9148477?hl=en&src=supportwidget0&authuser=0

Also, don't allow students to Sign-in to Secondary Accounts. They will spend the whole day in their personal stuff that you have no control over. Up to you if you want to allow staff access. We don't.

Hello Everyone!

This is the first time we are using Chromebooks at our school.
Our Chromebooks are correctly enrolled in the Google Admin Console and show the proper provisioning status.

We also have the Chrome Upgrade license.

However, when we start a device and open the Google Play Store, no apps appear — the store is completely empty and nothing can be installed.

I would like to know if this could be caused by a missing setting or service.
Is there any specific configuration I need to enable in the Google Admin Console (for example, I have just enabled Android apps on Chrome Devices and the Google Play service) to allow students to see and install apps from the Play Store?

Thank you!!

Oscar
