Google Profile Pic requirements?

I have successfully updated our SIS and Destiny systems with our recent school yearbook photos. However, I ran faculty accounts first in Google with the same jpg files and everyone is stretched out and out of focus. This is a new photography company for us this year- I don't remember having to resize for Google pics in the past but that doesn't mean I didn't. I just don't remember. I've seen different support articles for this but they seem driven for end user instructions. I manually updated pics in GAC for faculty but now I am holding off to do students through GAM if they are all going to be formatted poorly. Any experience or suggestions here? Thanks!!

I just had the photographers resize the images and resend them. Just wanted to update the thread. Thanks!

Mary,

You shouldn't have to. The system should show you an aspect ratio when you upload and then take whatever data that is needed from the file. It should not be stretching or squeezing uploaded images.
