Google Workspace

https://support.google.com/a/answer/9050643?hl=ja

Is there a way to set third party app access by a group rather than an OU? If not, has anyone found a work-around?

I have an elite group of students that need access to a particular app, but the problem is they are in OUs that also designate specific access with parameters/rules for that OU. For example, one OU allows the students to access LinkedIn for their particular program that they are in. Now I have a need for some of those students to have access to another third party app (BlueFrame Technology/HUDL accounts), but only specific students from the OU have permission to use it. Has anyone had this frustration? How did you solve it or did you?

Unfortunately, security> API controls > App access control (https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=configuredApps) is only available on an OU basis. I haven't found a way around this yet. We also had this question but Google support couldn't help out with this either.

I'm referring to Third-Party apps that have to be verified for "Under 18" use, not additional Google apps or services. BlueFrame Technology is a website that our athletes login to in order to watch game film. They have to have parent permission to be able to access, and then we set it up so they can have access to the website, but no one else does.

Security - API Controls - App Access Control is where it is located.

Thank you for responding.

Managing API access by group was always the plan, but it hasn't become reality yet.

Sometimes the wheels spin slowly.
