Tablas en documentos de Google

Una docente me comentaba lo ocurrido con un documento compartido con todos los docentes de su curso donde, en extricto rigor deben en una tabla completar datos, una columna para cada asignatura. El problema fue que una docente creo mas columnas y filas en la tabla ya creada, descuadrando todo el documento y afectando la información completada por otras personas. Se que existe el historial y comparación de cambios desde donde puedo recuperar la información agregada por otros e incluirla nuevamente en el documento (y su respectiva tabla) pero así como existe en "hojas de calculos" de Google, ¿alguna o alguno sabe si existe la forma o complemento que inmovilize las tablas (tanto filas como columnas) y que ningún tercero (que se le comparta el documento) pueda manipular o borrar tanto el contenido como estructura de la tabla?

Efectivamente con algo de tiempo y dedicación puedo recuperar y completar la información, pero cuando son 96 funcionarios, donde varios trabajan en varios documentos compartidos, esto se va de las manos.

Espero haberme explicado correctamente.

Desde luego no sugerir trabajar en "hojas de calculos de google" que un muy bajo porcentaje de funcionarios la entiende.

I am still going to suggest working in Sheets, as it is the only proper way to solve your problem.

You create the first template and lock it down.

Show a few people how to copy your template and lock it down to themselves.

Let them show it to their colleagues, and so on and so on.

Proper training in the correct tools is the only way to get away from "it doesn't work like I want".

Precisamente no quería leer eso de usar hojas de calculos, pero se agradece el aporte @Kim_Nilsson

Well, the problem is you are asking for something that isn't possible to do in Document.

Instead of digging in, and in the end still not accomplish what you want, I offered the only real solution.

@Kim_Nilsson may not have the suggestion that you wanted to hear but it is the only solution to locking down a "table" so it cannot be modified. In a Google Doc it is all locked down or nothing locked down. You can share the Google Doc to allow view, comment or edit. You cannot, however, share a Google Doc to lockdown only a section of the Doc. If you learn how to prevent others from editing specific cells in Google Sheets when sharing the file, you can then instruct the other users. It might cost you time now in learning the new skill and then teaching it to the others, but it will save you a lot of time in the end. If you do a Google search there are step-by-step directions and videos that can help you with this. You can do it!

Se agradecen sus respuestas, y al ser realista en la unidad educativa donde trabajo no es prioridad alguna capacitar a los docentes en el área de tecnología y uso de herramientas digitales, enseñar (practicamente desde cero) a los docentes el uso de hoja de cáculos para que al finalizar su trabajo me encuentre con el problema de re configurar para imprimir varios de los documentos que algunas jefas de área prefieren en papel para tomar nota en ellos, se convertirá en otro caos.

Me quedó claro y doy por cerrado el caso con la reflexión de que "documentos de google" no puede limitar su uso de manera parcial y menos con las tablas.

@YERKO Did you happen to see the announcement by Google about the new table feature in Google Sheets? They have made it easier to format Sheets to a Table. You will need to check and see when it will be available in your area. Maybe this new feature will open the door to using Tables in Sheets since they did a lot of the heavy lifting to make it easier.
