Chrome log files

Is there a log file that shows me when a USB drive has been used? I have found network log files and used the Google Log Analyzer. Is there a way for me to see if/when a USB drive has been used on a Chromebook?

A bit late but yes there is. Not sure if you can do so remotely but I just tested this using the chrome://support-tool/

Just click Next to go to step 2 > Tick the option for Device event logs (The one underneath Policy) > Next and save the file. Then opening the "device_event_log.log" file and it shows me, for example, the following line:

2024-03-15T13:39:57.985877+01:00 USB: USER chrome[5297]: usb_service_linux.cc:294 USB device added: path=/dev/bus/usb/001/025 vendor=2385 "Kingston", product=5734 "DataTraveler 3.0", serial="(Serial: 2)", guid=(UUID: 2)

Maybe that is something that could be of help?

I haven't found an option to see this from the Google Admin console so far, unfortunately.
