Exporting Math from Gemini to Google Docs

I recently received an email asking for help with exporting math content from Google Gemini to Google Docs. Although Gemini does a great job creating math content, the problem happens when you try to export that content to a Google Doc for use in a worksheet or quiz or test or such. You end up getting odd looking code instead of the images of the math symbols and expressions.
